Since its new management, Pikesville Jewelry is a family-owned and operated business. Amilcar Samudio has been learning about the trade of jewelry from his father back in Panama and is a second-generation jeweler. When he first moved to the United States he worked for Richard and Marc, the previous owners of Pikesville Jewelry, as a jeweler. While working at Pikesville Jewelry during the day he also worked at a jewelry store in Columbia Mall during the night. He took in every experience and opportunity he had to build his knowledge and expertise to become a Master Jeweler and owner of Pikesville Jewelry Designs.
Amilcar loves talking to customers about how to create or even redesign jewelry. He is a visionary and a talented artisan jeweler.
